May Happenings--2017

We had a great May.  Here is what we were up to during the month of May.
I caught Tanner eating by his Baymax that be got for his souvenir from Disneyland.
I buried the boys in their block bin one day.  They loved trying to get out and asked if we could do it again and again.
Mason and Tanner stuffing their shirts and pants with their blankets...again.  Just after this picture was taken Mason and Tanner were trying to roll around with their blankets still in their tummies.  Tanner lost his pants while doing it.
We love softball season.  We love watching Casey play softball and I love getting the boys matching jerseys like their daddy wears.  Casey had a fun time playing, even though his team wasn't very successful in winning any games.  They lost almost every game, but when they got to the tournament they one like 6 games in a row.  It ended up being a great season and we are excited to start next season.

I sure do love this little droid.
Tanner loves liquorish.  One day I found him eating it in the kitchen.  He didn't have just one or two pieces, he had a whole handful of liquorish.  He ended up eating almost every piece.
Tanner buried Mason in the baby toys bin.  When he tried to get out it tipped over.  Tanner thought it was the funniest thing that has ever happened.
"Mom look, were superman."  Boys can be a little crazy sometimes.  They came up with this idea all on their own.  And then they realized they needed capes so we found one cape and a blanket and they ran around the house, "saving the world."
My little Blakey bear at 9 months old.
Casey took Mason and Tanner on our wards Father and Son's campout.  They did a few hikes, before heading to a Springville hike we like to take so the kids could throw rocks in the river.  Because of a family thing we had early Saturday morning, they didn't spend the night, but they ended their fun outing at Hogi Yogi to get ice cream.  I'm grateful Casey would take these boys and hopefully next year they will actually spend the night.
For Mother's Day Casey got me trees for our backyard.

??? but it's a cute picture of Blake.
Mason stuffed an entire roll of torn up toilet paper down his underwear.  I had to take a picture before he got in trouble for wasting toilet paper.
My Mother's day flower that Mason made in Primary.
We went to the Pie Pizzeria with Casey's family for Memorial Day.
Casey and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary.
Boys Boys and more boys in the tub.
Mason, Ashley, Nixon, and mom at Lydia, Bud, and Parker's end of school year dance festival.

Amy, Meg, and I took the kids to Nielson's park to feed the ducks.  After feeding the ducks we let the kids play on the playground for awhile.

At the end of May we had our annual hot dog roast in the orchard.  We love the hot dog roast, but I think the thing I love the most about it is being with family and watching my boys have so much fun playing in the orchard.  It brings back so many great memories of playing with cousins in the orchard day after day.

Memorial day is always one of my favorite holidays because it means school is coming to a close for the year and summer is just around the corner.  I also love going with family to the cemetery and placing flowers on the graves of loved ones.

We celebrated Memorial Day with the Mecham's by having a hot dog roast lunch.  That night we played games at mom and dad's house.
Just some cute boys in their jammies to end the month.
We had a great May.  Were looking forward to summer and pool season.
