New Year's Eve--2014

We had so much fun spending time with family this year for New Year's eve.  We celebrated a little differently this year, but we still had a great time.

We started our New Year's Eve celebrations by going to dinner with my family at Chic-Fil-A.  My mom usually hosts a New Year's Eve party at her house and has lots of treats, food, and games, but a couple of days before New Year's Eve she came down with the dreaded flu bug.  Needless to say, she wasn't quit filling up to her usual New Year's Eve party.  Although we went a different direction this year than our normal traditions, everyone still had a great time, especially our little Mason.  He was in complete heaven being able to play with all his friends on the Chic-Fil-A PlayPlace.  He was one happy camper.
After dinner we went down to the shop to shoot off fireworks.  The wind was blowing too hard to do them at home, and the shop ended up being the perfect spot for fireworks.  Casey took Tanner home and put him to bed and I took Mason to watch the fireworks.  The weather was freezing, but we bundled up in our best winter gear and we all had a fun time watching the fireworks.  Mason ended up cuddling up to Lin and falling asleep during all the excitement.

After the fireworks I took Mason home to Casey and I went and rang in the new year with Lin, Justin, Mer, Garrett, mom and dad.  After playing a few games, ringing in the new year, and having our traditional fresh lime drinks, it was time to call it a night.

We had a wonderful New Year's Eve and we can't wait to see what the new year brings.
